Biography
Bryan Bark is an 18 year old musician from the Netherlands, who mainly plays the drums. He plays some other instruments on the side too, like bass, and synth. His music is made out of a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but to give you a good impression here's four categories: rap, funk, r&b and jazz. His biggest inspiration comes from artists like 'Frank Ocean', 'Earl Sweatshirt', 'Anderson. Paak' and 'Jon Bap'. Another inspirational figure to Bryan is his drum teacher Hans Peter de Zeeuw, who has motivated Bryan a lot. Hans Peter has been teaching him for 11 years now and more to come.
Bryan has performed live on multiple locations, with multiple bands and projects, mostly in Amsterdam. Is working with rappers producing beats, accompanying singers, and is recording demo's. Currently he's following his first year of a music study at the ROC of Amsterdam(Pact+). He's never stood on a huge stage, mostly small concerts at places like, Bourbon Street, Volta, De Peppel and requests from people for party’s or companys. His performances consist of a mix of trancing and danceable music.
- 'Dedication' is the name of Bryan's oldest band that has got new life blown into it, they play a mix of funk and rock, with some jazz influences. With Bryan on the drums he's accompanied by Thommy Stratter (his brother) on guitar, Roel on bass, and AvA on vocals.
- 'Hômegrown', an indie-jazz rock band with Bryan on drums. Dion on guitar, J.Vlaar on keys and B.Metten on vocals.
- 'Bird Flock', a rap group starring Bryan Bark, McMarijnDeYouth and R.Postma.
